“Ain’t no stoppin’ us now…”

I know you are humming this tune to yourself right now! Each time you do, keep in mind that the notoriety of this disco chorus is synonymous with the work and growth of Eiros.

Team Eiros is not only assisting our customers as Housing Navigators and Staffing Specialists but are ramping up opportunities to educate the public on self-direction.

Coming up in September, Kristen Mathews, Director of Supports Brokerage, will be collaborating with DDDs Office of Education on Self Directed Services (OESDS), presenting in one of their popular lunch-n-learn topics. This educational piece highlights a 15-to-20-minute excerpt outlining the specifics of self-direction and sharing the benefits and best practices.

Kristen, Congratulations on this fantastic opportunity!

12th Annual Autism Pursuit Race

Eiros’ involvement in the community goes beyond the daily work routine. Eiros strives to support individuals that will benefit from interactive and fun community activities by attending various fundraising events.

On Saturday, July 29, Eiros Group attended the 12th Annual Autism Pursuit Race and Dinner fundraiser. The event started with sailboat races at the Riverton Yacht Club, and continued into the evening with music, dancing, and a sumptuous meal. What added to this event was the mesmerizing view of the sun setting over the river.

All of those in attendance had the opportunity to continue to this worthwhile cause through the purchase of raffle tickets, biding on donated items and 50/50 tickets.

This fundraiser and all donations supported “Yard” Work and More, Inc and are used to support individuals with developmental disabilities to take classes, produce, and create art, and learn life skills.

Having fun and supporting a fantastic cause! Visit “Yard” Work and More, Inc’s Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/YardWorkAndMoreInc

Please note that the next online training for Culture of Gentleness will be September 13th and 20th from 12:30-4pm. Please contact Melissa to sign up for this training.
